A Jimi Hendrix documentary is in the works with 'The Greatest Night in Pop' director
An authorized documentary titled 'Jimi' about rock icon Jimi Hendrix is in development, directed by Bao Nguyen. It will focus on Hendrix's pivotal years in London and his influence on music history. The project is endorsed by Hendrix's sister, Janie, and aims to capture the vibrant 1960s music scene and Hendrix's legendary performances, notably at the Monterey Pop Festival. This marks the first time Hendrix's estate has allowed a full-length documentary about his life.
