Robin Guy, an acclaimed drummer known for his work with notable rock bands such as Rachel Stamp, Sham 69, and All About Eve, has died at the age of 55 on September 8, 2024. His wife, Jessica Rushton, shared the heartbreaking news on his Facebook page, stating, "This is the hardest thing I will ever have to write. With absolute devastation I have to announce the passing of the brightest star, Robin, after a 6-year battle with cancer."

The news of Guy's death has prompted an outpouring of tributes from across the music community. Julianne Regan, the frontwoman of All About Eve, expressed her sorrow by reflecting on Guy's lasting impact, stating, "Gone, but what an impression he made. It was such a privilege to have known him."

Music journalist Simon Price also highlighted Guy's electric stage presence, emphasizing the dynamic energy he brought to every performance.
