AdvisaCare is currently searching for a compassionate and skilled Musical Therapist to join their dedicated team. This part-time or per diem position offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients of various ages and backgrounds, using music as a therapeutic tool to address emotional, physical, and cognitive needs.

As a Musical Therapist, you'll be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Your role will involve conducting therapy sessions, either one-on-one or in groups, while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care approach. Maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress and continuously expanding your knowledge and skills in the field of music therapy will be essential components of your responsibilities.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution and have certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC). Clinical experience with diverse populations is preferred, alongside strong musical skills and proficiency in various instruments. This role demands excellent communication abilities and a genuine passion for helping others. Empathy and patience are key traits for establishing a therapeutic rapport with patients.
