AEG Presents, a leader in live entertainment, is currently looking for an A1 Audio Engineer. This role will be crucial in assisting all areas of audio production for events at their venues. As the main point of contact for sound and audio during shows, the A1 Audio Engineer will need to liaise with staff, vendors, security, and artist management. The position involves coordinating and advancing audio production needs while overseeing technical requirements such as sound, A/V equipment, and venue maintenance.
Responsibilities
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining the venue's sound system, ensuring that microphones and speakers function properly.
- The engineer will also be responsible for the set up and breakdown of sound equipment on stage, adhering to safety requirements.
- Serving as the primary point of contact between vendors, artists, sound crews, and management companies is essential for executing shows effectively.
Qualifications Required
Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those with a Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree. Additionally, they should have 2-4 years of relevant work experience, strong listening and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Working hours may vary, requiring flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a pay scale of $39.38 per hour.
