Arizona State University (ASU) is currently seeking an experienced Classical Music Audio Engineer to join its Arizona PBS team in Downtown Phoenix. The position aims to deliver exceptional audio content for public broadcasting, digital media, and commercial outlets. As a crucial part of ASU's Central Sound department, you will be involved in various tasks ranging from on-location recordings to advanced mixing and audio restoration. This role requires a strong background in classical music production and familiarity with high-fidelity recording techniques, especially in live and studio settings. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in audio equipment and have experience with digital audio workstations, particularly Magix Sequoia.

In addition to technical skills, the position emphasizes the importance of collaboration with producers, composers, and other professionals to achieve the desired sound quality. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $48,400 and $63,800 annually, depending on experience. Applicants are expected to possess a bachelor’s degree in audio recording or related fields and must demonstrate a minimum of two years in relevant audio engineering experience.
