This position entails a variety of responsibilities including recording, editing, mixing, and studio maintenance. The audio engineer will conduct recording sessions with artists, managing tasks such as setup and breakdown, sound engineering, and operating Pro Tools.
Furthermore, the engineer will prepare recording sessions for mixing, ensuring that edits are clean and vocals are tuned properly. Collaborating closely with both producers and artists, the engineer will mix tracks to achieve the desired sound. An essential part of the role is maintaining a tidy studio environment and assisting with equipment repair when necessary.
