Consultative Search Group is currently looking for a skilled Audit Supervisor/Manager with expertise in the music industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for audit professionals who have over 8 years of experience, especially those who are familiar with royalty audits.

As an Audit Supervisor/Manager, you will oversee a team of auditors responsible for conducting royalty compliance procedures for record labels and music publishers. Your work will support a diverse client base, including unions, guilds, recording artists, and songwriters. A strong emphasis will be placed on developing and managing the audit program while delegating and reviewing staff work.

Key responsibilities include:**

  • Executing all aspects of the audit process for record labels and music publishers
  • Planning and conducting fieldwork procedures o - Designing audit programs to meet individual client needs
  • Analyzing large datasets and preparing financial reports to ensure compliance with music industry agreements
  • Identifying potential royalty issues and quantifying understatements as per agreement terms
  • Communicating effectively with clients and preparing detailed audit reports in written form.

To succeed in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, complemented by significant experience in auditing, including supervisory roles. Candidates should also have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a keen attention to detail.
