Teesside-based band Benefits have unveiled their new single, "Land Of The Tyrants," which features Zera Tnin, the vocalist of queerpop-electro duo Arch Femmesis. Known for their energetic and immersive live performances, Benefits have recalibrated as a duo comprising frontman Kingsley Hall and electronic musician Robbie Major. This latest single marks a significant evolution in their sound, coming off the heels of their acclaimed debut album.

The track is available for streaming now and is part of a broader plan that includes a UK tour set to kick off on October 5th. In an interview, Hall reflected on the band's journey, mentioning the turbulence over the past year. He commented on how they had nearly split up several times but ultimately decided to push through the challenges. Audiences have been drawn to their performances by the buzz generated in music circles, leading to a mixed reaction from attendees during their shows.

The single captures the raw energy Benefits are known for, with Hall declaring, "Our songs are still angry, WE are still angry but we are approaching it all in a different way. This is a punk move from us, this IS punk, but not as you might know it." Fans can keep up with the band's news and future releases through resources like Clash Music.
