The rumor mill surrounding Oasis' highly anticipated 2025 reunion tour has been swirling, particularly regarding who might support them on the road. Blossoms, the Stockport indie band, recently faced speculation after their performance at Manchester's Wythenshawe Park was linked to the teaser about Oasis' reunion, which coincided with Liam Gallagher's headline performance at Reading Festival. In an appearance on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, Blossoms' frontman Tom Ogden directly addressed the rumors, stating, "No. I don't even think they've sorted it out yet. There's been no conversation or anything else. I think they'll probably sort it out next year." His bandmate, guitarist Joe Donovan, commented that the reunion could inspire a new generation of musicians, suggesting that when favorite bands reunite, it often motivates young people to pick up instruments again. Currently, Blossoms are set to support Gallagher at a concert in Malta next weekend, in alignment with the release of their new album, 'Gary', on September 20.

Oasis' 'Oasis Live 25' tour has already sold out its initial 14 stadium dates, including performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin for summer 2025. Following the success of ticket sales, two additional shows in London were added for September 2025. Reports also suggest that fellow Mancunian band Courteeners could be in the running to support Oasis, with frontman Liam Fray expressing his intent to attend at least one of the shows at Manchester's Heaton Park. Additionally, Richard Ashcroft's name has been linked to the tour, though he has yet to confirm his involvement.

As fans look forward to the reunion tour, reactions to the recent ticket ballot have been mixed, with some praising the process for being more seamless compared to earlier trials, while others deemed it a shambles. Fans continue to anticipate further developments regarding the supporting acts opening for Oasis on this monumental tour, amidst ongoing discussions across various platforms.
