Cold Iron Studios is currently looking for a Senior Sound Designer to join their innovative team. This position is fully remote, allowing applicants from across the United States and Canada to apply. Key responsibilities for this role include implementing and authoring interactive, real-time sound using various tools such as middleware and scripting systems. As a Senior Sound Designer, you will collaborate closely with the audio director and team to develop, troubleshoot, and enhance audio systems that contribute to both the narrative and experiential elements of gameplay.

Ideal candidates for this position should possess at least five years of professional experience in AAA game audio, having previously shipped at least one AAA title as a Sound Designer or in a similar capacity. Proficiency with Unreal Engine, particularly Blueprint, as well as expertise in Wwise and its integration with Unreal, is essential. A deep understanding of spatial audio concepts and real-time sound creation is also required.

In addition to these skills, the studio values candidates with a balanced combination of creative problem-solving abilities and solid organizational skills. The role also offers a competitive salary range from $120,000 to $130,000, making it a lucrative option for experienced Sound Designers looking to advance their careers in a dynamic gaming environment.
