Downtown Music, a modern global music company dedicated to establishing a more equitable music industry, is currently hiring for the position of Coordinator, Sync Licensing. This role will be part of the Sync Team, working closely with the Senior Manager of Sync Licensing in various administrative functions related to synchronization licensing for Downtown Music Publishing's vast catalog.

This hybrid position is available in either New York City or Nashville. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating license agreements for diverse media including film, television, and video games, evaluating redlined agreements with production companies, and actively following up on outstanding invoices and requests. The successful candidate will nurture relationships with licensees and identify opportunities to leverage Downtown's diverse catalog effectively.

Candidates should possess 1-2 years of direct relevant experience, ideally in a music publishing, label, or synchronization-focused environment. An understanding of music publishing, licensing, and copyright is essential. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate across various teams, and initiative to thrive in a fast-paced industry setting.
