Consultative Search Group, a reputable recruitment firm, is currently looking for a Royalty Label Analyst to join a well-established entertainment firm. This role is essential for managing the intricate details involved in royalty calculations and artist pay structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex statements related to artists, producers, and profit participation under the guidance of a manager.
  • Develop income allocation schedules and analytical reports, also under managerial direction.
  • Review contracts and licenses to ensure that reported royalties are accurate.
  • Adhere to strict reporting deadlines while managing stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take on additional royalty-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess advanced proficiency in Excel, especially with formulas, macros, pivot tables, and linking. Although not mandatory, accounting or royalty experience in the music industry is preferred. Familiarity with Record Maestro and Music Maestro will be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and must be very organized. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is strongly preferred, along with a minimum of three years of music royalties experience.
