FlightSafety International, a leading provider of professional aviation training, is looking to hire a Software Engineer. This company is well-known for its world-class flight simulators and training systems for pilots, technicians, and aviation professionals across the globe. They cater to a diverse clientele that includes commercial, government, and military organizations, and operate facilities in the United States, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom.

The position involves creating mixed reality software solutions that merge physical and virtual environments, enhancing the realism of training scenarios. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with third-party hardware, specifically VR/AR/MR technologies, to expand the capabilities of FlightSafety's training devices. This role encompasses the complete software development lifecycle including communication, requirements assessment, research, design, testing, and user support.

Candidates must be proficient in C++/C/C# programming and have experience with virtual and augmented reality projects. Experience in audio systems, specifically real-time audio processing and debugging audio subsystems, is also crucial. Additionally, a good grasp of software development methodologies like Lean and Agile is expected.
