Frontiers Label Group has officially signed British rock band Skunk Anansie to its new imprint, FLG. This strategic move is part of the label's initiative to broaden its roster, focusing on rock and alternative genres.

Skunk Anansie, renowned for their significant impact on the rock scene, boasts over five million records sold worldwide. Their career kicked off with the debut album, Paranoid & Sunburnt in 1995, which along with its follow-up, Stoosh (1996), found a place in the UK Top 10 chart. The band made notable contributions to the global music landscape with hits like "Weak" and "Hedonism."

Their third album, Post Orgasmic Chill, was released in 1999 and was followed by a headlining performance at the Glastonbury Festival. After a hiatus in 2001, the group returned in 2008, releasing three critically acclaimed albums: 2010's Wonderlustre, 2012's Black Traffic, and 2015's Anarchytecture. Marking their 25th anniversary, they released a live album, 25LIVE@25, that features favorites from their discography.

Serafino Perugino, CEO of Frontiers Label Group, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, indicating that signing Skunk Anansie represents a crucial step forward for FLG. This signing not only symbolizes a fresh beginning for the band but also signifies the label's ambition to become a leader in international rock and metal. Leo Nicholas, head of A&R for FLG, emphasized their commitment to bringing powerful art to the forefront in partnership with established and emerging artists.

The band shared their excitement about this new chapter, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Frontiers in crafting a new musical direction while celebrating their extensive career in the process.
