Gabriel 'The Gun' Gonzalez, Original No Doubt Trumpet Player, Dies at 57
Gabriel 'The Gun' Gonzalez, the original trumpet player for the band No Doubt, passed away in a motorcycle accident. Known for his contributions to the ska music scene, he played in several bands including Save Ferris and The Untouchables. Gonzalez was involved in the early days of No Doubt and contributed to their musical creation, having co-written some of their early songs. He was recognized for his influence in the mod-ska scene and had a storied background, including attending the Berklee School of Music. He is survived by three children.
