General Dynamics is currently seeking a qualified Studio Engineer who will play a critical role in the support of radio and television media production for the Legislative Branch of the U.S. Government. This position is particularly vital as the individual will be working under the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms, located in the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

As a Studio Engineer, you will provide essential technical and production support to ensure that the Senate Recording Studio (SRS) operates effectively. This role requires ensuring broadcast studio system uptime to facilitate urgent media engagements and various production requests. The successful candidate will offer their expertise in broadcast systems and production while training Senate staff in troubleshooting and technical diagnostics.

To qualify, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 15 years total experience—including 5 to 8 years of relevant broadcast experience. Technical skills in broadcast studio production engineering, alongside a strong understanding of network engineering and systems maintenance, will be essential for this role. Security clearance is also necessary, as is U.S. citizenship or equivalent residency.
