Hayley Williams of Paramore has disclosed that the band is actively working on new music. In a recent interview with Dork, Williams shared that Paramore has been experimenting with sounds that could be part of their forthcoming album, which will follow their 2023 release, 'This Is Why'. Before embarking on their tour with Taylor Swift, they recorded several demos that caught Williams off guard, drawing inspiration from The Sugarcubes, the band fronted by Björk.

During their time off from touring in Hamburg's Clouds Hill studio, Williams described their new music direction as an exploration that felt like 'it was on the other side of the tracks' compared to previous works. "But that excites me," she noted during the interview.

Williams also hinted at the possibility of a new solo project after her earlier works, 'Petals For Armor' (2020) and 'Flowers for Vases/Descansos' (2021). She emphasized her commitment to Paramore as her primary focus, stating, "Paramore has always been the thing that I want to do the most." Reflecting on her solo ventures, she feels that they do not impede the band's dynamics, expressing, "I don't feel done with that at all."

In related news, Paramore has recently collaborated with fashion designer Bug Girl to release merchandise that will benefit Medical Aid for Palestinians. This collaboration follows moments shared during their time touring with Taylor Swift, where Williams was spotted wearing a modified version of Bug Girl's 'feminine rage' t-shirt.

Paramore has previously addressed their experience opening for Swift, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and sharing how much they enjoyed the experience. The band took to their social media to congratulate Swift on her ongoing tour success, adding, "We truly fell in love with your whole crew. Congrats on one more leg of this giant, history-making tour. We love you!"
