Hurray for the Riff Raff sings in a sage-filled meadow at the Aspen Ideas Festival
Alynda Segarra, known as Hurray for the Riff Raff, performed five songs in a sage-filled meadow at the Aspen Ideas Festival following a rain shower. Accompanied by Johnny Wilson, their stripped-down performance featured songs from their ninth album, 'The Past is Still Alive,' which explores themes of trauma, identity, and hope. The recording, hailed for its emotional depth and beautiful harmonization, took place in a picturesque outdoor setting on June 26, 2024.
