Role Overview:
The Music Publicist role aims to attract a highly motivated individual with at least five years of PR experience, specifically in the B2B music space. Candidates with knowledge of music technology will have an additional advantage. Key skills include developing strong media relationships and crafting compelling PR stories. The successful applicant will closely partner with senior management and clients to effectively implement PR campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Music PR: Collaborate with teams to conceptualize and execute dynamic PR campaigns tailored for the B2B and B2C music sectors.
  • Results: Assist in identifying and securing venues for events, as well as managing logistics such as audiovisual needs and accommodations.
  • Time Management: Effectively self-manage to facilitate punctual project completion.
  • Creativity: Leverage media knowledge to develop engaging pitches and connect with relevant outlets.
  • Writing Skills: Create pitches, press kits, client bios, and other essential written materials.
  • Exceptional Service: Ensure outstanding experiences for clients, enhancing their engagement and satisfaction.
  • Events Coordination: Occasionally coordinate press trips, red carpet events, and client-media interactions on-site as needed.

Qualifications Needed:

  • A bachelor's degree or a relevant certification.
  • Minimum of five years of public relations experience, with a focus on the music industry.

This is a part-time contract role requiring 5-10 hours of work per week, with growth potential based on performance.
