In an exciting job opportunity, Ladgov Corporation is currently seeking a Contemporary Worship Musician for the Chapel located at Altus Air Force Base (AFB), specifically in Building 301. This position entails a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the worship experience through music.
The primary duties of the Contemporary Worship Musician involve providing musical selections for the Contemporary Worship Service and directing additional musicians. The musician may collaborate with play various instruments including piano, organ, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, and woodwinds. Weekly music rehearsals will be coordinated in agreement with the Praise and Worship Leader and designated chaplain. Furthermore, the musician will conduct one worship service each week and one rehearsal every weekday, as well as oversee special worship services or rehearsals.
Candidates should ideally possess a minimum of three years of experience in a contemporary worship setting within the last five years. A solid understanding of multicultural Christian worship music, especially within Protestant settings, is necessary. Additionally, applicants should be proficient in reading music, playing lead instruments, and providing vocal harmony support for praise team members.
