Live Nation is currently seeking an Audio Sound Engineer for the House of Blues in Orlando, located in Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista. This exciting role involves a variety of tasks essential for ensuring high-quality audio experiences at one of the most popular venues.
What You Will Do
As an Audio Sound Engineer, your responsibilities will include the load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment. You'll set up and break down audio and event equipment, ensuring proper cabling and patching. Collaborating with the entire crew is key, as audio adjustments and maintaining safe levels are crucial for a professional mix. Operating audio control boards and overseeing visiting audio technicians during shows will also be part of your duties.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you should bring at least three years of tour and stage production experience, alongside knowledge in stage lighting and pro audio systems. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. A high school diploma is required, while a college degree is preferred.
Work Environment
The successful candidate must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and can expect to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
