Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a talented Manager for the Neighboring Rights team at The Orchard. This role is essential in leading and scaling their fast-growing neighboring rights business, while ensuring client satisfaction and revenue growth. The Manager will act as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of performance societies globally.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for several tasks, including:

  • Delivering eligible content to collection societies.
  • Working with Microsoft Excel and proprietary systems to handle various metadata-related duties.
  • Analyzing collections to identify growth opportunities in different territories.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of internal and external technology platforms, ensuring efficient operations and conflict resolution.
  • Supporting the Label Management and Client Services teams in addressing internal queries regarding Neighboring Rights collections.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in the music or entertainment industry, proficiency in handling large data sets, and excellent communication abilities. A second language and familiarity with music metadata are preferred. The position requires a thorough attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and possess strong organizational skills.
