The Del E Webb Center for the Performing Arts is currently seeking a Sound Engineer to join their team in Wickenburg, Arizona. This role primarily focuses on preparing and operating sound equipment for a variety of productions, including touring shows and educational events. Ideal candidates should be well-versed in the technical aspects of sound engineering including operating mixers, microphones, and understanding acoustic principles.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of sound-related systems, assisting technical teams, performing equipment maintenance, and contributing to set designs for school productions. You will also engage with students, offering hands-on learning experiences through technical theatre instruction.

Schedule Requirements:
This position requires flexibility to accommodate evening, weekend, and possible shift work, necessitating strong time management and adaptability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications:
Candidates are expected to have a certification in technical theatre production or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience. Competencies in acoustic engineering and sound reinforcement techniques, along with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, are essential. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds and the ability to work at heights up to 45 feet.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Sound Engineer position offers a salary ranging from $45,000.00 to $65,000.00, along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
