Live Nation is actively seeking an Audio Engineer to join their team, particularly for their events held at the Emo’s venue in Austin. This role involves various responsibilities that are crucial for delivering high-quality audio experiences during live performances. The audio engineer will be responsible for setting up and breaking down band and event equipment, which includes cabling and patching. Collaboration with the entire crew is a key element of the job, ensuring that all audio levels are safe and professional mixtures are provided during events.
In addition to operating audio control boards, the engineer will oversee visiting audio technicians, particularly when shows are in progress. Maintaining and repairing audio equipment is part of the job, alongside assisting the Production Manager with technical advancements involving artists’ representatives. The ideal candidate will also need to establish good relationships with both local and national audio vendors.
