Kanye West, now known as Ye, made headlines during his recent performance at the 'Vultures 2' listening party held on September 15, 2024, at Hainan's Wuyuan River Sports Stadium in China. The event showcased West's ongoing musical endeavors, particularly the album that serves as a follow-up to his earlier collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, 'Vultures 1'.

The standout moment of the evening occurred when West invited his four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—on stage to perform a rendition of the track 'Everybody'. This song has been in the spotlight since it features a recreated chorus of the Backstreet Boys' hit and includes contributions from Charlie Wilson. The familial performance was shared in a video posted by West's partner, Bianca Censori.

Prior to this event, West's collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign faced challenges in the charts; despite initial expectations for 'Vultures 2' to debut at number one, it was blocked by Taylor Swift's album, 'The Tortured Poet's Department'.

Additionally, West's 19-year streak of albums debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 was ended by Swift's release. Both 'Vultures 1' and 'Vultures 2' received mixed reviews, with the first album criticized for lyrical content. The duo's second album has also faced scrutiny regarding unauthorized sampling of Portishead.

The China listening party followed a previous event in South Korea, where West made an attention-grabbing entrance on horseback, further exemplifying his dramatic public persona.
