Kobalt Music Group is on the lookout for an Assistant Manager to join their Writer & Publisher Relations team based in Los Angeles. This position acts as a vital conduit between Kobalt’s clients and the organization, serving as an ambassador for the company's administrative services. Candidates will be responsible for forging and maintaining relationships with Kobalt's songwriter and publisher roster, ensuring effective communication and solutions for administrative inquiries.

The role involves overseeing the onboarding of client agreements and catalog ingestion. It requires maintaining and optimizing client account information for efficient catalog registration, royalty collection, and ongoing administration throughout the duration of clients’ publishing agreements. Moreover, the Assistant Manager will collaborate with various departments such as Business Affairs, Copyright, and Finance to support the correct production and distribution of royalty statements.

Candidates must possess experience in a client-facing role within the music industry, along with a grasp of music publishing, copyright, performing rights organizations (PROs), and digital service providers (DSPs).
