Lana Lubany, the Palestinian-American artist, has unveiled her new single "Nazareth," alongside the announcement of her upcoming EP, "Yafa." Set to be released on October 31, 2024, via AWAL, the EP will feature six tracks, including her recently released singles "Prayers" and "Another Year." This new project marks a follow-up to her debut EP, "The Holy Land," released last year.

The title track "Yafa" is named after Lubany's hometown and reflects her upbringing and experiences that have shaped her identity. In her own words, the artist describes the EP as exploring the complexities of identity and belonging, particularly in an environment where acceptance is often elusive.

Lubany stated, "I've always felt like I was in between worlds - an outsider. After having finally accepted my own identity, I was met with yet another struggle to gain acceptance from the world. Music has been my healing point where I felt like I could fully be myself."

The single "Nazareth" is described as fun and carefree, depicting the sense of community Lubany feels she misses while living away from home. An accompanying video, filmed in Jordan and directed by Joel Barney, further underscores the themes of the project.

In support of the EP's release, Lubany will perform several shows across Europe, including a set at London's Oslo in December. Tour dates include performances in Istanbul, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, and Berlin throughout November and December 2024.

The full tracklisting for "Yafa" is as follows:

  1. I Wish I Was Normal
  2. Yafa
  3. Nazareth
  4. Another Year
  5. Prayers
  6. Set Her Free!

Fans can catch her live performances and stay updated through her official channels and ticketing sites.
