LCD Soundsystem has confirmed a new winter residency in New York City for 2024, titled the 'Winter Function'. The band will perform at Queens' Knockdown Center over three weekends in November and December. The first set of shows is scheduled for November 21-24, followed by a break for Thanksgiving, before resuming on December 5-8 and concluding with performances on December 12-15. Each night will feature support from special surprise guest artists, creating an unpredictable and exciting atmosphere for attendees.

Fans can take advantage of a ticket pre-sale beginning on Tuesday, September 24, exclusively for American Express cardholders, which will run until Wednesday, September 25 at 10 AM EST. A general ticket sale will open on Thursday, September 26, at 10 AM EST, allowing more fans to secure their spots. For more information and ticket purchases, you can visit this link.

This announcement follows an earlier winter residency in Los Angeles, where the band will play at the Shrine Expo and Hollywood Palladium. The band has previously enjoyed successful residency shows in various cities, including London and Boston. LCD Soundsystem’s frontman, James Murphy, has expressed a preference for these intimate engagements, as they provide the opportunity to play more casually, allowing the band to focus on making music without the pressure of extensive tour preparations. Their last release, 'New Body Rumba', was featured in Noah Baumbach's film "White Noise" and marked the band's first original material since 2017's 'American Dream'.

Fans are anticipating what promises to be a festive and memorable experience as the band continues to engage with their New York audience. You can follow more of their updates and ticket information through their official website.
