Matt Berry Announces New Album 'Heard Noises' Coming January 2025

Matt Berry has officially announced the release of his new studio album titled Heard Noises, set to arrive on January 24, 2025, through Acid Jazz Records. The announcement was made on September 17, 2024, and fans can preview the album with the single "I Gotta Limit," featuring artist Kitty Liv.

For this upcoming project, Berry has collaborated with long-time partner and neo-progressive drummer Craig Blundell. The album also features several notable guest musicians, including Natasha Lyonne from Pokerface and Eric D. Johnson from The Shins and Fruit Bats, who contributes acoustic guitar, autoharp, and backing vocals on tracks such as "Why On Fire?" and "To Live For What Once Was."

Other collaborators on the album include Phil Scraggs on lap steel guitar, Rosie McDermott providing vocals on "Sky High," and a special appearance by the S. Club 60s Choir, which features Berry's mother.

Heard Noises will be released in both standard and exclusive acid jazz color vinyl, which is available for pre-order. The full tracklisting is as follows:
