Megadeth Drummer Calls Out Fashion Brand Over Altered Metal Imagery
Dirk Verbeuren, the drummer of Megadeth, has called out the Vetements clothing company for using artwork that resembles that of Soilwork's album 'Stabbing the Drama' and other metal logos without proper licensing. He remarked on the fashion trend of appropriating metal imagery and questioned whether it's a creative homage or a blatant theft, highlighting a price tag of $1,600 on the hoodie. Randy Blythe of Lamb of God chimed in, criticizing the fashion industry's tendency to exploit underground subcultures without genuine engagement.
