Metronomy has unveiled a new single titled "Petit Boy" in collaboration with the Manchester-formed and London-based quartet Porij. Released via Ninja Tune, the track follows Metronomy's recent effort, the Posse EP Volume 2, and showcases a lively and effervescent dance vibe.

"Petit Boy" blends infectious pop melodies with eclectic synth sounds and sophisticated chord arrangements, promising an engaging listening experience. Porij’s vocalist provides a catchy hook that enhances the track's appeal, supported by Metronomy's polished production style.

Commenting on the collaboration, Porij shared their excitement about working with Metronomy, noting, "It was a joyous experience getting to collaborate with Metronomy on this track. It's a silly tongue-in-cheek song about dealing with insecurities within ourselves and others. We started it many moons ago and came back to it recently with fresh ears and thought it was decent haha. Very much looking forward to finally getting it out in the world."

With its mix of playful lyrics and danceable rhythm, "Petit Boy" is positioned for widespread appreciation. Fans can stream the new single on all major platforms. For more information on the release, visit Ninja Tune.
