Prizes awarded at the Bratislava International Cello Competition
The Bratislava International Cello Competition took place from 6 to 12 September 2024, featuring two categories for cellists under 21 and up to age 30. The competition concluded with awards presented to exceptional cellists, including first prize winners Lyana Ulikhanyan and Yosuke Shimizu, who performed notable works by composers like Tchaikovsky and Schumann. The jury was composed of respected musicians in the classical genre.
