Report: Former Lizzo dancers sue for sexual harassment, discrimination, and more
A lawsuit has been filed against singer Lizzo and her production company by former backup dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Nicole Rodriguez, alleging sexual, religious, and racial harassment, along with false imprisonment and disability discrimination. The dancers accuse Lizzo and her dance captain Shirlene Quigley of creating a hostile work environment and detail incidents of pressure to attend a sex club during a tour. The suit also claims racial discrimination within the dance team and includes allegations of weight-shaming by Lizzo. Lizzo's representatives have been contacted for comments.
