Peanut Butter Wolf and the Stones Throw team reviewed numerous beat submissions over the holiday season and selected a total of 13 winners for their Beat Battle contest. While originally planning to award only three prizes, the exceptional quality of submissions led to the enhancement of prizes, including a grand prize of a Roland SP-404MKII for the top entry and gift cards for runners-up. Contestants were required to create original beats using provided sound banks and share their work on social media. The judging criteria focused on originality and creativity, with winners being announced later in December.
