UK rapper Skepta unveiled a new snippet of a collaboration with Kanye West during a fashion show for his brand MAINS on September 14, 2024. The unreleased track, informally titled "Cash Cow" by fans, had previously been teased at a "Vultures 2" listening party in Los Angeles earlier in August.

The snippet revealed at the MAINS show featured some bold lyrics:
"When it's war time, I go Rambo / You want tap dance, you want sambo / It's too many floors, I got ample / I just give and go, like I planned to."

While it remains uncertain whether the track will be part of Skepta's forthcoming album, "Knife and Fork," it marks a notable moment in their musical partnership. This album is eagerly awaited by fans since the rapper's last release, "Ignorance is Bliss," in 2019. No official release date has been set for the new project.

Skepta's fashion brand MAINS, initially launched in 2017, faced setbacks which led to its pause due to a split with the manufacturer. However, it was revived in 2022 with renewed aspirations. Earlier that day, Skepta also announced an open casting call for models to participate in the show.

This isn't the first time Skepta and West have worked together. In 2018, Skepta was credited as a composer on West's "ye" and both artists have a history of collaboration that dates back to West's 2015 BRIT Awards performance, where Skepta joined him and others from the UK grime scene.

As Skepta also ventured into filmmaking with his directorial debut in the short film "Tribal Mark," the multi-talented artist looks to expand his artistic narrative further in future projects.

Meanwhile, Kanye's recent musical endeavors included the release of "Vultures 2" with Ty Dolla $ign, which debuted to mixed reviews after delays and complications surrounding sampling issues. The collaboration and ongoing developments in their respective careers suggest that the musical landscape remains dynamic and full of potential ahead.
