On November 8, 2024, Rhino will unveil a Super Deluxe Edition of Talking Heads' groundbreaking debut album, 77. This special edition comes with a wealth of rare and previously unreleased material, including a live performance recorded at CBGB in New York City on October 10, 1977.

The Super Deluxe Edition encompasses a 4xLP + 47 boxset that features a remastered version of the original album, along with an additional LP containing demos and outtakes that have not been heard before. Additionally, there is a double LP dedicated to the live set from CBGB, providing fans with a vivid glimpse into the band’s early days.

Accompanying the audio material is an 80-page hardcover book, packed with unseen photographs, posters, artwork, and liner notes written by each band member: Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison, as well as their recording engineer, Ed Stasium.

Standard versions of the album will also be available, including a 2xLP and a 3xCD + Blu-Ray configuration, ensuring that fans have multiple options to dive into this rich collection. A rare acoustic version of the classic track "Psycho Killer," featuring acclaimed cellist Arthur Russell, can be heard below as a teaser for what’s to come in this release.
