Talking Heads' iconic 'Stop Making Sense' film is coming out on IMAX
Talking Heads' iconic concert film 'Stop Making Sense' will be screened in IMAX format on October 2 across 300 locations in the UK and Ireland to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The film, directed by Jonathan Demme, is recognized as the greatest concert film of all time and was originally shot in December 1983. A24 has partnered with IMAX for this event, and a tribute album featuring a cover by Paramore was also announced earlier this year. The band previously reunited for a special screening during the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
