The Cure send fans postcards confirming new album title and release date

The Cure recently confirmed their new album title, 'Songs Of A Lost World', and its release date of November 1, 2024, via postcards sent to fans. This marks their first album in 16 years, following 2008's '4:13 Dream'. The band has been slowly teasing their return, having performed new songs during their recent tour. Additionally, they are set to release live recordings as a double A-side single for climate charity 'Earth Percent'. Robert Smith and the band have hinted at an array of unreleased tracks, reflecting their evolving sound, which includes themes of doom and personal loss. Keyboardist Rodger O'Donnell also shared his recent health battle with blood cancer during this time.
