In July 2024, Tomorrowland celebrated its 20-year anniversary, attracting 400,000 attendees from across 200 countries. Following this landmark event, the festival has partnered with Amazon Music to unveil 'We Are Tomorrow,' a poignant documentary that explores the festival's music and the global community it fosters.
The 23-minute documentary features the personal stories of six individuals, including Brazilian DJ and producer Vintage Culture, as well as festivalgoers from the UK, Argentina, and Singapore. Their narratives highlight the transformative experiences within Tomorrowland. Vintage Culture reflects on his ascent in the music industry, while Curtis from the UK reveals how he conquered a life-altering motorcycle accident. The film also features two friends from Argentina who achieved a lifelong dream and 18-year-old Hline, who attended the festival for the first time alongside her parents.
The documentary aims to provide an intimate glimpse into Tomorrowland, transcending music to capture raw, personal moments. Vintage Culture’s reflections on music's emotional influence greatly enhance the documentary's resonance. Following its exclusive premiere in São Paulo, the film is now available for streaming via the Amazon Music app and YouTube. This initiative builds on the success of last year's documentary featuring Alok, which won a Webby Award for Best Video Events & Livestream.
