Untitled (halo), the L.A.-based indie rock trio, continues their strong sonic exploration with new tracks that exhibit a blend of tranquility and existential themes. Their latest single, that's honey, showcases a deathly yet dreamy allure as lead vocalist Jack Dione captures a haunting vibe alongside bandmate Ariana Mamnoon. In her lyrics, Mamnoon contemplates the summery highs and inevitable darkness that lurks beneath the surface.

This year, untitled (halo) has made waves with several new releases, including their recent single, sKill isSue, which emerged in May and spotlighted a marked enhancement in production. Both Dione and Mamnoon deliver their words with a cool detachment, perfectly aligned with their introspective lyrical content. The band embraces a fresh take on the quintessential slacker sound, underscoring this with an ambient acknowledgment of fate’s unpredictability.

Formed just a couple of years ago in Southern California, the trio quickly bonded over music and released their debut single, el prado freestyle, followed by the EP towncryer. This EP captures an organic rehearsal feel, featuring elements like Jay Are's loose drumming that provides a playful groove to their laid-back style.

The band’s creative influences extend beyond music; they cite films such as Dazed & Confused and Out of the Blue as key inspirations in shaping their artistic vision. As untitled (halo) continues to explore their musical identity, their contribution to Rock and dream pop evolves further, blending various elements while staying true to their roots. Their recent track Pedal Petal, included in the compilation Road Less Traveled 2, stands out as one of their softer, echo-laden offerings. With this impressive discography trajectory, untitled (halo) showcases their artistic range and depth, successfully capturing contrasts in both tone and thematic resonance.
