Danish/Swedish progressive metal band VOLA has announced the release of their new single, "Cannibal," along with a dynamic music video. This pounding anthem features guest vocals from Anders Fridn of the well-known Swedish band In Flames. "Cannibal" is the fourth single from VOLA's upcoming album, Friend Of A Phantom, set to be released on November 1 through Mascot Records.

In their statement, VOLA expressed their excitement about collaborating with Fridn, commenting, "VOLA's music is heavily shaped by melodic death metal, so having Anders Fridn from the legendary In Flames featured on 'Cannibal' is a dream come true for us. We feel truly fortunate and are enormously proud of the result."

Fridn also shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "I have been a fan of VOLA since their first album. They are constantly evolving and, to me, are one of the most interesting bands out right now." He praised the band's live performance, recalling an incredible show he attended at The Troubadour in Los Angeles before participating in their recording.

Following the album's release, VOLA will embark on their Friend Of A Phantom European tour throughout November, featuring multiple UK dates including London, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, and Bristol. Fans can view the complete tour schedule on their official website.
