Terence Nance, also known as Terence Etc., is set to release his debut album "V O R T E X" on August 19, 2022, through Brainfeeder. Nance is celebrated for his work as a multidisciplinary artist, notably for his award-winning series "Random Acts of Flyness". The album aims to balance various energies and incorporates collaboration with friends and artists like Solomon Dorsey, Nick Hakim, and Nelson Bandela. It explores themes of love, regret, and emotional depth while also featuring visuals by Rikk Wright and others. Nance has a profound admiration for Stevie Wonder and plans to premiere a ritual at the Whitney Biennial in September, alongside the second season of his series.
