Danish trio WhoMadeWho, renowned for their dynamic fusion of indie-electronic and dance music, has released their much-anticipated eighth studio album, Kiss & Forget, on September 13th via their label, The Moment. With 13 tracks on this new project, the band showcases a diverse sonic palette that includes house, synthwave, disco, and pop influences.
Notable collaborations on the album enhance the depth of sound, featuring artists such as RY X, Blue Hawaii, Adriatique, and Kölsch. This release represents a significant milestone in WhoMadeWho’s extensive career, following their 2022 album, UUUU. In the lead-up to Kiss & Forget, the band connected with fans by releasing standout singles, including the lead track "Children," which features the serene vocals of the Vesterbros Ungdomsgrd children's choir. This track received early acclaim, being highlighted as an Essential New Tune by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1.
The emotional range and sonic diversity of the album are underscored by promotional singles like "Love Will Save Me" featuring RY X and "Kiss Me Hard" with Blue Hawaii. In support of the album, WhoMadeWho has embarked on a world tour that features immersive stage designs created in collaboration with architectural firm BIG and visual artists flora&faunavisions. The trio's captivating performances are set to light up major cities including New York, Paris, and Copenhagen.
In recognition of their innovative concert experiences, WhoMadeWho also received the title of Best Live Performer at the 2024 Beatport Awards.
