Young Sounds UK launches 5.8m Music Opportunities Pilot for low-income families
Young Sounds UK is launching a 5.8 million Music Opportunities Pilot in collaboration with the UK Government to support young musicians from low-income households and those with special educational needs. The initiative will provide free musical lessons, personal bursaries, and mentorship while reaching out to 1,000 young talent across 12 regions over four years. The program is designed to ensure equal access to music education for all children's backgrounds, promoting empathy and creativity. Various organizations and donors are collaborating to fund the initiative.
