A$AP Rocky continues the rollout for his upcoming album, "Don't Be Dumb," by dropping a new track titled "Ruby Rosary" featuring J. Cole. Premiered on September 6, 2024, this marks the first official collaboration between the two prominent rappers. Produced by The Alchemist, the song sees both artists trading verses over a melodic piano groove.

The lyrical content delves into themes of competition and confidence as Rocky launches into a dismissive tirade about the listeners' top five favorite rappers. Lines such as "Cut the st, cut the lies, word to the wise/Who in your top five? Haha (Fk your top five)" reiterate his assertion of dominance within the genre. Likewise, J. Cole contributes a reflective verse on progress and evolution within his career, stating, "Goin' backwards is borin', b***h, and I'm not Michael Jordan, I don't do the retro."

"Ruby Rosary" is one of the numerous preparations leading to the anticipated launch of "Don't Be Dumb," initially set for August 30 but postponed to the fall due to leaks and sample clearance issues. Rocky also recently hinted at two other tracks from the album, "Shroom Cloud" and "Grim," providing fans an insight into the evolution of his artistry.

As he continues to promote his album, Rocky previously released singles like "HIGHJACK" featuring Jessica Pratt and the visually imaginative "Tailor Swif." A$AP Rocky's last studio project, "Testing," was released in 2018 and featured notable hits, reaffirming his steady presence in the industry. To listen to "Ruby Rosary," click here.
