The Army National Guard is currently seeking passionate musicians to join their band as Army Bandpersons. This role offers a unique chance to perform diverse music styles, ranging from jazz to ceremonial band performances and even small group ensembles. Potential candidates will specialize in various instruments including but not limited to tuba, trombone, euphonium, electric bass guitar, and percussion.

As an Army Bandperson, your primary responsibilities will include performing and rehearsing as a professional musician across different ensembles. The Army provides a platform to enhance your skills and gain experience in performing a wide array of musical genres, including classical, ethnic, and popular music compositions.

This position not only allows for creative expression but also provides significant professional growth. Candidates will receive paid training, including 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by up to 23 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Musicians can look forward to ongoing opportunities in nightclubs, concert halls, and recording studios, all while enjoying a variety of compensations including the Montgomery GI Bill and retirement benefits.
