This role is pivotal in adjusting, testing, configuring, and commissioning various Broadcast and IT systems, ensuring that projects are completed while maintaining high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in video, audio, control, and networking. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with project managers and lead installers, conducting signal tests, programming broadcast equipment, and compiling commissioning reports. As part of the final quality control process, the Engineer will ensure that all work delivered by Alpha staff meets safety and quality requirements.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a high level of organization, and be familiar with construction and job sites. While a high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred along with at least five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of various audio and video technologies are necessary to succeed in this role.
