Venezuelan artist Arca and Dominican artist Tokischa have officially unveiled their collaborative single "Chama". The track takes listeners to the deepest corners of the dancefloor, combining aspirations with hypnotic beats. Characterized by trance-like transitions, icy reggaeton breaks, and layered vocal textures, "Chama" serves as a borderless anthem for the ostracized and disenfranchised.

Arca describes the intent behind the track, stating, “This one's for all the dolls, the queens, and the good little witches. If I shine, it's for us. Courage to all my butterflies in defending softness, tenderness, magic, and sweetness in a world full of hardness. Shine without fear, chamas.”

Last November, images of Arca and Tokischa at Electric Lady Studios circulated online, generating excitement among fans. Since then, the duo has been spotted together at various events, including performing at the LadyLand Festival in NYC. In May, Tokischa included "Chama" in her US shows, while Arca debuted the track at her Boiler Room set in Barcelona.

Arca has steadily built a transgressive body of work over her career, addressing themes of art and identity. Her acclaimed "KICK" series has raised her profile as a key figure in Latin American music, garnering multiple Grammy nominations. The release of "Chama" is complemented by a music video shot in Barcelona, directed by Stillz, featuring both artists.
