Armada Music has officially signed a long-term partnership with Spanish DJ and producer Arodes, known for his unique electronic sound and creative production style. The agreement aims to bolster support for Arodes' newly founded label, Unreleased. This follows another strategic collaboration between Armada and Amsterdam-based artist Ki/Ki, who leads the label Slash.

Arodes, whose real name is Adrian Rodriguez, has previously collaborated with Armada on a remix of Jan Blomqvist's track "Destination Lost" and most recently lent his touch to Camelphat's "Turning Stones." As part of their agreement, Armada Music will closely collaborate with Arodes on artist and repertoire (A&R), label management, distribution, and marketing strategies for upcoming releases under Unreleased.

Arodes expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This collaboration opens up new creative possibilities and will help us bring cutting-edge music to a broader audience." His first track as part of this partnership is a remix of "Use Somebody," originally by Kings of Leon. This new version fuses the original vocals with piano melodies and an Afro house beat, already being spun by DJs such as Adriatique, John Summit, and Gordo at top venues and festivals including Burning Man and Ushuaïa Ibiza.

With an extensive catalogue of over 40,000 tracks, Armada Music, founded by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis, manages artists like Arty, Eelke Kleijn, and Loud Luxury, amassing over a billion streams monthly. The headquarters is located in Amsterdam, with offices in New York, London, and Laren.

Additionally, Arodes has an impressive track record of performances at major festivals including Tomorrowland and Coachella, and 2024 will see his event brand "Unreleased" secure residencies in Mykonos and Ibiza. The collaboration is poised to enhance Armada’s footprint in the dance music arena.
