Bach To Rock (B2R), a well-respected music school for students of all ages, is looking to hire a Drum Instructor at their location in the Twin Cities. This part-time position involves providing music and performance lessons and using the B2R curriculum to inspire students from various backgrounds and skill levels.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach both private and semi-private lessons, creating an encouraging and focused atmosphere for learning. Responsibilities include assessing students' readiness to join bands or ensembles, assisting at school events, and potentially repairing equipment.

The requirements for this role are quite clear. Applicants must demonstrate a solid understanding of music concepts, possess effective time management skills, and have an advanced understanding of music theory relevant to their primary instrument. Experience in performance, particularly in solo or group settings, is also crucial. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities and should have experience interacting with both children and adults.

Compensation for the position starts at $18 per hour, and candidates should have availability at least three days a week. Additionally, B2R seeks instructors who do not teach at other music facilities within five miles of their location.
